Loosh has four types of wallets. You can hold as many as you need — one per job, one per cause — and each has its own balance, its own public card and its own QR code. Money never mixes between them. Several of them carry your own name, so the type chip and the workplace or service name on each one are what tell them apart at a glance.

Which one do I want?

Personal

Yours. Created for you when you join, and you only ever have one.

Professional

Formal and informal employment — tied to a workplace, offering a service, or creating digital content.

Organization

For a registered organisation. Needs its documents verified before it can receive.

Project

A special cause, occasion or event.

Side by side

What every wallet has

  • A public card at its own short link, and a QR code to go with it
  • Top up by card, send, and receive
  • Cash tokens and pledges
  • A printable tip card
  • Reviews, and referrals you can share

Two things that surprise people

Wallet names cannot be changed after creation. Neither can the short link. Pick carefully. Your personal wallet and any workplace wallet follow your profile name automatically, so change those under Account → Profile. Every other wallet keeps the name it was created with. Deactivating a wallet is one-way from the app. It stops receiving and disappears from discovery, but your balance stays yours and you can still withdraw it.
