Invite someone to Loosh and, once they are properly using it, you earn a reward.

Inviting

Open a wallet, tap Referrals, then Share this wallet. Your public wallet page and your printed profile card work as invites too — anyone who joins after scanning one is credited to you. Invites belong to a wallet, not to you. The link carries the wallet it came from, and that is the wallet the reward is paid into. If you hold more than one wallet, share the link from the one you want rewarded. The person has to be new to Loosh. Existing users cannot be referred, and you cannot refer yourself.
Cash tokens do not qualify as referral instruments. If someone joins the platform from scanning a cash token, there is no referral reward that will be given to you

Earning the reward

1

Joined

They signed up with your link. Nothing is earned yet.
2

Cooling

They have done a qualifying action — a first top-up above a minimum, or a first withdrawal. Your reward is set aside with a release date, and is not spendable during this period.
3

Earned

The cooling period has passed. The reward is in that wallet’s balance and behaves like any other money — spend it, send it, or withdraw it.
The reward goes to you, the person who invited. There is no cap on how many people you can invite. The reward amount, the top-up minimum and the length of the cooling period differ by country and can change, so they are not printed here.

Why a reward can sit as pending

The cooling period exists so that a reward is not released on activity that later gets undone. While it is cooling the amount is held aside rather than credited, so it will not appear in your wallet balance — only on the Referrals screen. We may withdraw a pending reward where we detect abuse; contact support if one disappears unexpectedly.

This is not the sign-up bonus

The two are easy to confuse:
  • The sign-up bonus is yours for joining. It is promised when you create your first wallet and paid once your identity check is approved.
  • A referral reward is for someone else joining through you.
Both appear in your activity, with different icons.
